WorldBridge Connect: Terms of Use
Welcome to WorldBridge Connect! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) outline the agreement between you, our customer, and WorldBridge Connect, a UK-based company. They govern the services we provide, primarily helping you obtain travel visas and other travel documentation. By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Scope of Our Agreement
- Who We Are: “WorldBridge Connect” refers to our UK company providing these services. “You” refers to our customer.
- What We Do: Our main service is assisting you in obtaining travel visas and other necessary travel documents. We guide you on required documents and forms, then submit them to the relevant authorities on your behalf.
- This Agreement: These Terms, along with details on our Website and our Privacy Policy, form the complete agreement between us. Other general terms do not apply.
- Changes to Terms: We may update these Terms. The version in force when you place or modify an order will apply to that order.
- Contract Formation: Your order is officially accepted, and our contract begins, when you receive our “Your Order Has Been Received” email.
- Third-Party Services: If we refer you to other service providers (e.g., for health testing), their terms apply to their services, and we are not responsible for them.
- For UK Consumers: If you are a consumer under UK law, you have certain rights, including a 14-day cooling-off period for service cancellations. However, due to the urgent nature of visa and document processing, WorldBridge Connect begins work immediately upon payment approval or receipt of full documentation. By agreeing, you acknowledge that you may be liable for fees covering services already provided if you cancel within this period. Visas are also considered custom items, which may affect your cancellation rights.
2. Our Service Procedure
- We strive to provide accurate information and secure your visa in a timely manner.
- Important Note: Visa requirements (documents, fees, timelines) are based on general criteria and can change based on your personal details or by the issuing authority (embassy/consulate) without notice. We will inform you of any such changes as soon as we can.
3. Submitting Your Documents
- You can find the list of required documents on our Website.
- We’ll send you an email confirmation when your documents arrive at our offices.
- We only process the visas you specifically request; we are not responsible for other visas you may need for your trip or for stopovers.
- By submitting your request, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms.
4. Obtaining Your Visa/Document
- Crucial Step: When we return your passport and documents, it is your responsibility to immediately verify that all visas you need have been obtained, are valid for your travel dates and purpose, and that all personal details are accurate.
- Notify Us Immediately: If you find any discrepancy, you must notify WorldBridge Connect by email without delay.
- Issuing Authority Decisions: The final decision to issue a visa and grant entry rests solely with the issuing authority and immigration officials. WorldBridge Connect cannot guarantee that a visa will be issued, or issued within a specific timeframe. Our fees are for the service of facilitating the application.
- Travel Bookings: Do not purchase non-refundable travel tickets or make reservations until all required travel documents are secured and verified by you.
5. Delivery of Documents
- We typically send completed applications via DX Secure Mail, and a delivery charge will be added to your order.
- WorldBridge Connect is not liable for any loss or delays incurred by third-party delivery companies.
6. Additional Services
- We may offer additional services (e.g., Premium Service, Digital Photo Service, Passport Replacement, Immigration Assistance, Invitation Services). Details and terms for these are available on our Website.
- Services arranged through third-party partners are subject to their own terms and conditions, and WorldBridge Connect is not responsible for their services or any related delays or errors.
7. Fees & Payments
- Our service fees, including any applicable taxes and charges from issuing authorities or courier services, are listed on our Website and must be paid by you.
- Non-Refundable Service Fees: Once WorldBridge Connect submits your application to an issuing authority, our service fees are non-refundable. Consular fees are also non-refundable.
- Changes in Fees: Consular fees and service availability may change without notice. We will endeavor to inform you of any changes where possible.
- Application Rejection/Client Error: If your application is rejected, and we are asked to re-submit, you will pay any new fees from the issuing authority. If the re-submission is due to an error on your part, WorldBridge Connect may charge an additional service fee.
- Right to Retain Documents: We reserve the right to hold passports and documents until full payment is received.
- Cancellation: If you cancel an order before it is submitted to the government agency, our service fees will still apply. Once submitted, full fees are due, and additional cancellation fees may apply for early withdrawal.
8. Important Warnings & Disclaimers
- Final Decision: The issuing authority makes the final decision on the type, speed, and duration of any visa or passport, and may reject applications without giving a reason.
- No Guarantees: WorldBridge Connect does not issue visas or passports and cannot guarantee approval or processing times. Do not purchase non-refundable tickets until all required travel documents are secured.
- Accuracy of Information: We provide visa and passport information in good faith, based on our interpretation of official guidelines. We are not responsible for any errors or omissions in this information.
- Your Responsibility: It is your express responsibility to ensure your visa/passport is valid for your intended travel dates, purpose, and number of entries, and that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your trip’s completion.
- Entry Decisions: Even with a valid visa, local immigration officials in each country have the final authority to deny entry. We recommend securing your visa before departure.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Lost/Damaged Items: If your passport or document is lost, misplaced, damaged, delayed, or destroyed while in our care due to our fault, our liability is limited to the basic replacement cost of that item. We are not responsible for items handled by third-party delivery services or issuing authorities.
- Unrequested Documents: Please retain any original documents (e.g., bank statements, certificates) not specifically requested by WorldBridge Connect for submission. We accept no responsibility for the loss or damage of such unrequested documents.
- Exclusions: To the maximum extent permitted by law, WorldBridge Connect excludes liability for any indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or travel costs, or any loss from information obtained from our Website.
- Maximum Liability:
- For non-Consumers: Our maximum liability is limited to the fees you paid for our services.
- For UK Consumers: Our maximum liability for direct loss is limited to £250, provided it is entirely due to our incorrect service.
- Unexcluded Liability: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
10. Claims Period
- You must inform WorldBridge Connect of any claim related to our services within one month from the date your visa/document was delivered (or, if not delivered, from the date of your order). After this period, any rights to correction or compensation will expire.
11. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the complete agreement between us, replacing any prior discussions or arrangements.
- Severability: If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, it will be removed, but the remaining provisions will still apply.
- Force Majeure: WorldBridge Connect is not responsible for any failure to fulfill obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disaster, war, government action).
- Subcontracting: We may use subcontractors or assign our rights under this agreement.
- Third-Party Rights: This agreement does not create any rights enforceable by persons who are not a party to it.
- Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be exclusively handled by the courts of England.
